Getting To Fair Park:

Due to the number of people, it is recommended you arrive as close to 10:30 am as possible. We’ll meet at the State Fair Main/Front Gate Entrance (Dart Fair Park Station) and will go in PROMPTLY at 11:00 am.

TIP: A Dart Rail Day Pass is only $4 – Check out the Dart Rail System Map for a convenient route for you. Take the Green Line to the Fair Park Station it will drop you off right at our meeting place!

Tips For A Fun Day:

Bring plenty of cash, although there are a few ATM machines on inside the Fair Grounds, you’ll want to make sure you have plenty of cash on hand for any incidentals, if you want to purchase additional tickets for drinks, rides, etc. Make sure your phone is fully charged. There will be plenty of amazing photo opportunities, if you’re a shutterbug and want to bring a camera, it never hurts to have an extra fully charged battery on hand. Come prepared for LOTS of walking and wear comfortable shoes. The weather is usually nice for the fair, sunscreen is always a good idea since we’ll be outside a good part of the day, and sometimes its nice to have a sweater or light jacket at night. Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside the park. The Fair Grounds are open till Midnight if you want to stay afterward to enjoy the rides on the Midway.
